Mount Banks, N.S.W.

Mount Banks is a stunning location in the Blue Mountains, and is distinctive for its double hump that was formed millions of years ago by lava. The vegetation also changes radically as you approach the summit, from triassic sandstone to basalt which gives rise to a thick canopy of trees on the top of the mountain. Mount Banks is eery and beautiful and well worth many visits.
