The Glass House Mountains are a cluster of thirteen hills that rise abruptly from the coastal plain on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. They were named by Captain Cook, who stated they reminded him of the glass furnaces in Yorkshire. They are located on the traditional lands of the Jinibara and Gubbi Gubbi people.
