Blackheath, N.S.W.

Blackheath is an area that has been occupied by the Dharug Aboriginal people for an estimated 40,000 years before Europeans arrived, with evidence that it was an annual meeting place for the Dharug, Gundungurra, and the Wiradjuri people. It is known for its excellent vantage points offering the finest northern vistas from the ridge which runs up the Blue Mountains.
